Tesla's invite-only Austin Cybercab launch is Thursday, 3 September. RSVP closes today at 11:59pm PT, 4:59pm Melbourne. Official Tesla X has been quiet since Saturday's "Less than a week away" post with Ashok Elluswamy. Teslarati and Not a Tesla App both spent the weekend on the same operational detail: Cybercab's front light bar is RGB, and Teslarati says that color also shows in the Robotaxi app so you pick the right gold two-seater at a curb. Elon replied Sunday that power quality at SpaceX's Terafab can be solved with Tesla Megapacks, and that there is not enough nearby land to run the plant entirely on solar, so it will be partially solar-powered. Yahoo Finance, working off Saturday's post and The Information, said SpaceX's Bastrop foundry is for in-house turbine blade and vane casting, which Elon said could bring gas turbines online up to 18 months faster. Tesla is still in that post as the 100 gigawatts a year of solar.
Not a Tesla App is tracking software 2026.26.6.5, dated 26 August, which bundles FSD Supervised v14.3.8 on Hardware 4 in North America. Teslarati's account said Sunday that v14.3.8 has been very impressive on their own drives, including A-to-B without touching the wheel.

IAA Transportation in Hannover is 15 to 20 September, where Tesla said it will unveil Semi specs for Europe. Wheel and tire rate change is 1 October. Street estimate for Q3 earnings is around 21 October.
