Tesla closed Thursday up 2.60 percent at $354.81, with the Nasdaq up 1.57 percent. That's a bounce after Wednesday's 1.26 percent drop, and it rode a broader tech bid after Nvidia reported. Volume was about 30 million versus a 41 million average, so don't hang a thesis on one session. After-hours was basically unchanged.

Not a Tesla App, using Texas registration data, had Tesla adding 79 Model Ys in a single day on Thursday, taking the state's robotaxi registrations from 191 to 270. That's a 41 percent jump on paper, and it landed the day after Tesla said the unsupervised fleet was a lot bigger. A registration is not the same as a car already carrying riders, and Tesla still has not published a count. The same report puts Waymo at 736 registered robotaxis in Texas.

Tesla pulled in-house vinyl wraps from the Shop. Not a Tesla App found the Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck wrap pages returning file-not-found, and Teslarati confirmed the listings are gone. Tesla did not announce it. The US program had been limited to five service centers in California and Seattle, at $4,000 for Model 3 and Y and $4,500 for Cybertruck after the late-2024 switch off PPF. A support FAQ is still up, so treat this as the Shop going dark, not a press release.

Calendar: Cybercab Austin invite event is 3 September, RSVP 30 August at 11:59pm PT. That's an event, not a confirmed paid public start. Tesla Semi's account has an invite-only Semi Rollout at the Sparks, Nevada factory on 24 September, RSVP 2 September, several months after the high-volume line started. IAA Transportation in Hannover, 15 to 20 September, is still where Tesla said it will unveil Semi specs and launch details for Europe. Street estimate for Q3 earnings is around 21 October.
