The Daily Trader Pierre put out a fresh clip last night asking if Tesla is done. He still has the longer structure as a downtrend from the Christmas highs near 500, but says the bounce from the late-July lows still has buyers, with daily momentum picking up from around August 19. Near-term he is watching roughly 385 as resistance the current move could reach into mid-September if that shorter trend holds, and he would give this pullback leeway down toward 338 before it starts looking riskier. Biggest operational note is Robotaxi hours. Tesla Robotaxi said the service now runs 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, across the cities on the graphic, including Austin, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa. Unsupervised fleet is a lot bigger, and they say smarter distribution and routing should cut waits. Tesla did not publish a vehicle count with that line. Cybercab is still early next month in Austin.
On the customer-car side, 2026.26.6.5 started rolling in North America. That is the Summer Update merged with FSD 14.3.8 for HW4 and 14.1 Lite where that applies. Not a Tesla App has the release notes. Same install, not a new Robotaxi stack claim.

On the brake rule, five more organization comments landed 26 Aug on docket NHTSA-2026-0728 after AVIA’s 0070, taking the docket to 71. Alliance for Automotive Innovation (0075) strongly supports dropping hand/foot brake mandates, wants an expeditious final rule, and asks for stowable or removable controls plus a flexible service-brake-control definition. Rivian (0072) supports dropping the pedal mandate and an electronic-to-ADS telltale alternative. Porsche Cars NA (0074) backs the Alliance and wants expeditious finalize of friction-type parking-brake removal (S5.2). Vay (0071) commends the modernization but objects to remote-braking/teledrive restrictions. Tensor Auto also filed (0073). No Waymo, Zoox, GM, Ford, or Tesla supplement.
