Texas Motor Carrier Credentialing System records now list 45 purpose-built Cybercabs under Tesla Robotaxi, LLC, with 269 Model Ys still on the same Texas roster. Not a Tesla App 4633, 31 August, said 45 Cybercabs were added to the commercial Robotaxi roster on Monday, days before Thursday's Austin event. Teslarati matched the 45 after an earlier seven, and named TxMCCS as the lookup. tesla.com/robotaxi still lists paid Model Y rides in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, and still says Cybercab will offer rides in your area in the future.
The Austin Robotaxi map moved north. Drive Tesla, 31 August: riders saw a larger Austin geofence for the first time in about 10 months, roughly 290 to 300 square miles, about 10 percent more, with the northern edge toward Pflugerville. Teslarati put the new service area at about 288 square miles, up about 9 percent, plus Mesa Park and neighborhoods north of the Domain along US 183. Tesla had already posted a bigger Dallas service area on Saturday. Paid hours are still 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, in the six unsupervised metros. The Bay Area stays supervised.
Elon replied Coming soon on Sunday night Melbourne time when a driver asked for FSD pothole avoidance. Drive Tesla and Not a Tesla App both carried that reply. Tesla has listed Add pothole avoidance under Upcoming Improvements since FSD v14.3 in April. NATA also notes some current FSD builds already steer around large holes; Musk did not name a build.
