Tesla closed Wednesday at $345.82, down 1.26 percent, with the Nasdaq off just 0.08 percent. Volume ran under the recent average, so I wouldn't hang a thesis on the size of the print. US cash is shut until later tonight Melbourne time; after hours it was a little higher, don't overfit that.

The Daily Trader Pierre posted a Tesla levels tape for the 26th. He had rising channel support at 348.16, and said holding that left 382.73 in play by the end of next week, with 370.54 as the nearer channel top. A close under 348.16, in his framework, marked a decent August high, with 340.10 next. Cash settled at 345.82, under that 348.16 line. That's one technician's map, not the tape, and not a substitute for Tesla IR.

Tesla lifted US Cybertruck prices on the two dual-motor trims. Dual Motor AWD went from $69,990 to $74,990 and Premium AWD from $79,990 to $84,990; Cyberbeast stayed at $99,990. Reuters, Teslarati, and Not a Tesla App all traced it to Tesla's own configurator. Tesla didn't explain the move. Q2 Other Models was 12,364 units, which mixes Cybertruck with leftover Model S, Model X, and Semi. A $5,000 sticker change is not a discontinuation, and it isn't proof demand suddenly healed either.

Tesla Robotaxi's official account said paid service now runs 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, that the unsupervised fleet is a lot bigger, and that better distribution and routing should cut waits. It did not publish a vehicle count. The purpose-built Cybercab is still not carrying the public; Tesla has an invite-only Austin event on 3 September.

Tesla China told Tencent Tech and National Business Daily the Shanghai FSD data center is operating normally, recruitment for driver-assistance roles is accelerating, and it reported the vacancy rumors to police. China is still missing from Tesla's list of 12 FSD Supervised subscription markets. The denial is about the building and the team, not a paid FSD start date for Chinese owners.

Software 2026.26.6.5 started going to North America on Wednesday, pairing FSD Supervised v14.3.8 on HW4 with v14.1 Lite on HW3 Model 3 and Y. Lite is Tesla saying it distilled HW4 v14 behavior onto HW3, including parking, unparking, reversing, arrival options, and speed profiles. Not a Tesla App had it on about 0.1 percent of the fleet, so don't treat it as a nationwide flip.

Tesla senior sales advisor Philip Powers said the Model Y is Europe's best-selling EV through the first seven months of 2026, citing Dataforce: 115,957 registrations, up 55 percent versus the same stretch last year, and fifth among all cars in Europe. That's a registration ranking, not Tesla's delivery print.

BBC recapped China's door-handle action: SAMR on 21 August put more than four million vehicles in, nearly three million of them Teslas, mainly warning labels and a crash window-drop software change ahead of a 1 January 2027 ban on hidden handles without mechanical releases. Tesla has not notified a similar US recall. NHTSA told the BBC it is reviewing emergency door-exit rules.

Calendar: Cybercab Austin invite event 3 September, RSVP 30 August 11:59pm PT. IAA Transportation in Hannover, 15 to 20 September, is where Tesla said it will unveil Semi specs and launch details for Europe. Street estimate for Q3 earnings is around 21 October.
